Music Vine

Music Vine, a leading platform in the music licensing industry, commissioned CDT Commercial Ltd to carry out the Category B (Cat B) fit-out for their new office in Leeds, UK. The objective was to create a dynamic and functional workspace that would foster creativity, collaboration, and productivity. The design, by Callum Howie at RE-Vive spaces, perfectly captures Music Vine’s brand identity while providing an environment conducive to both focused work and collaborative tasks.

Project Scope:

CDT Commercial Ltd was responsible for transforming an empty shell into a fully functional workspace tailored to Music Vine’s specific needs. The project included:

1. Interior Design & Layout Planning (RE-VIVE Spaces):

• Creating a unique office layout that accommodates different departments and promotes collaboration.

• Incorporating break-out areas, meeting rooms, individual workspaces, and open-plan sections to suit the varied needs of the Music Vine team.

• Ensuring acoustically sound spaces, particularly for music-related work, such as a soundproofed studio.

2. Mechanical & Electrical Installation:

• Works to existing HVAC systems, electrical power, data, and lighting.

• Energy-efficient systems were integrated to align with Music Vine’s sustainability goals.

3. Joinery & Custom Furnishings:

• Custom furniture installations, including desks, meeting tables, shelving, and storage units that complement Music Vine’s creative culture, supplied by RE-Vive spaces.

• Special attention was given to the aesthetics of the office, blending industrial design elements with warm, modern touches.

4. Branding & Finishes:

• Integrating Music Vine’s brand identity into the design, through colours, graphics, and artwork.

• Bespoke finishes, including high-quality flooring, feature walls, and lighting fixtures that create a contemporary yet comfortable atmosphere.

5. Soundproofing & Acoustic Solutions:

• Given Music Vine’s work in the audio industry, soundproofing and acoustic management were key elements. CDT installed high-performance acoustic solutions in the studio and key areas to ensure optimal sound quality.

6. IT Infrastructure & Audio-Visual Integration:

• Installation of the latest IT infrastructure to support a fast-paced, tech-savvy workforce.

• Integrating cutting-edge audio-visual systems in the meeting rooms and the studio.
